NorCal Civil Engineering is a general civil engineering consulting firm specializing in rural site development. We have a strong background in onsite water and wastewater systems, topographic survey and construction staking, grading and drainage design, as well as the entitlement process.
We collaborate closely with clients, architects, other consultants, and contractors to help convert the project vision into a permit-able and build-able concept.
Understanding the potential limitations to develop properties and how to determine those are what we can assist with. Factoring in the cost of development, potentially restricted onsite septic capacity, steep slopes, or other natural features requiring a setback or special design.
Project history includes wineries as well as other food, beverage, and agricultural producers, markets and deli’s, hotels, vacation rentals and small rural resorts, recreational vehicle camps, aviation companies, vineyards, and custom residential projects.

Taking your vision, molding it into a code-compliant permit-able drawing, calculation, and report which your contractor can make come to life. Partnering in every aspect of the project from property acquisition, entitlement, survey, feasibility, design, permitting, and construction.

Location is not Limiting
Sonoma, Marin, Napa, and Mendocino Counties. However, we've worked all over California. We may be based in sunny Santa Rosa, but Sonoma County is just the start of where we provide our services.
